Welcome

My name is Suzanne and I live in the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath.  My passion is designing decorative fused glass, here in my studio: the 'Bee Hive' as I call it.
At an early age I was inspired by the work of Piet Mondrian and Charles Rennie Mackintosh and these great artists continue to influence my designs.  My love for creating beautiful items from glass all started with a voucher for a glass making taster afternoon.  I soon discovered I really enjoyed this new avenue of creativity and so a hobby turned into a flourishing enterprise - who would have thought!
Today, my aim is to create unique items of striking glassware which are both vibrant and contemporary.  With each piece hand-crafted and the free nature of fused glass, no two Bee Happy Glass Designs will ever turn out exactly the same.
Bee motifs often feature in my work. Bees always make me feel happy and I smile every time I see them.  I hope they make you 'bee happy' too.
