My name is Stephanie Grace and I am an artist living in the Sherborne Area, I have lived in beautiful Dorset for the past eighteen years. My childhood was split between Cheshire and Cornwall.I studied Art and Design at the renowned Falmouth University, to truly explore my fascination with illustration, pattern and design. I have a deep affection and appreciation for the natural world, spending a lot of the natural world, spending a lot of time immersed in nature. It will come as no surprise that the Art Nouveau period, William Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement, both styles heavily influenced by nature and inspiration for me. Those iconic, timeless patterns.A new, fresh canvas presents an opportunity to interpret and express my love of colour, pattern and life through my paintings, allowing me to excite my creative flair and style. My style embodies a sense of vibrancy and spontaneity, holding up my own mirror to reflect the world I see around me.My process builds up several layers of colour and tone, allowing the piece to develop as I progress, before applying my intricate design to make each piece unique. I’m always exploring and pushing new boundaries to evolve my art and encourage new ventures in creativity.
